The caption reads:
“Mrs. Lillian Lee, the grandmother, is shown in this photo with her grandaughter, Mrs. Vivian Carl and her great grandsons, Gary and Douglass Carl. This photo was taken in front of the Williams homestead on the Shinnecock Reservation.
The little boys are now grown men and both served their country in the armed forces. Mrs. Lee is deceased but the mother and sons still live on the reservation. (April 25, 1969)”
